Your documents stay in this browser
Invoicefy stores document details, customer information, and uploaded logos in your browser’s local storage. The editor does not send this content to an Invoicefy invoice database. We do not require an account, and we do not use cookies for invoice storage.
Local storage is convenient, not a backup
Your documents are available only in the browser profile and website address where you created them. Other people using that same profile can access them. Clearing site data, changing browsers, using private browsing, or losing the device can remove access. Local storage is not encrypted by Invoicefy. Avoid storing sensitive details on shared devices.
Use Export backup in My documents to download your document data as JSON. Keep that file somewhere safe. Import it in another browser to move your work. A backup may contain client information and logos; treat it like any other business record.
PDFs and uploaded images
PDF generation takes place on your device. The PDF you download is under your control. Your logo is read locally and saved with the document; it is not uploaded to an Invoicefy file server.
Basic website requests
Your browser still connects to our web host to load the site. The host may process technical request information, such as your IP address, requested URL, and browser details, for delivery and security. We do not add advertising trackers, third-party analytics, or remote font services to this application. Links to government sources take you to external websites with their own privacy practices.
Removing your data
Delete individual documents from My documents. To remove all local data, clear the site’s storage in your browser settings. Download any records you need before clearing data. Copies you have exported are separate files and must be deleted separately if you no longer need them.
